WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. -- Mrs. Elsie Fern Hanson, 76, died at 9:23 a.m. Monday (June 4, 1973) at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Attica. She was born in Warren County, May 17, 1897, the daughter of George E. and Rosaetta Pavey Ottinger. She was married to Bert Hanson at Williamsport, who died in 1956. A resident of West Lebanon 24 years, she owned and operated Hanson's Dry Goods Store in West Lebanon 24 years. She was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Kneeland (Vera) Stingleton of Rossville, Mrs. Allen (Laverne) Kiser of Danville and Mrs. Edward (Madge Dean) Story of Rural Attica; three sister, Mrs. Clova Lane, Mrs. Dorothy Myers, both of Delphi, and Ossie Pearson of Attica; six brothers, Fred of West Lebanon, Orville and Walter, both of Williamsport, George of Delphi, Lowell of West Point and Earl of grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and ther stepchildren and step-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at the Fisher Funeral Home at Williamsport. Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Koch. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery.  --typed by Walt W
